Better Business Habits Weekly Breakfast - Week 4

  Chris Thompson -

Mayoral Candidate for Sunshine Coast Council

TOPIC:  Let's Get the Balance Right

Serving Division 4 as Councillor from 2004-2016, Chris is well qualified to step up to the plate in next Month's election as a Mayoral Candidate for the Sunshine Coast Council.

During his time he held numerous Council positions including Deputy Mayor, Head of Finance, Governance, Corporate Services and Water.

Chris stepped down from politics 4 years ago to spend more time with his young family but now feels the time is right to return and lead the Sunshine Coast toward a more balanced future.   Having lived on the Sunshine Coast for over 30 years,  Chris is a family man at heart and understands the need to protect the Sunshine Coast's lifestyle so that our children can enjoy it.

Chris obtained a Bachelor of Business at our local USC and later obtained an MBA from the University of Queensland.  He has a proven track record in financial management and believes in honesty, integrity and community first.  Chris spent 6 years with the Royal Australian Navy and has held numerous senior positions with private enterprise

Join us to hear Chris speak about his passion for the Sunshine Coast as he outlines his plan to fight for the future of the residents, environment and businesses on the Sunshine Coast and   'Get the Balance Right'.

"If elected I will provide honest and transparent leadership. I will work with the community and business groups to ensure we have a prosperous future, whilst at the same time protecting the environment and our Coast lifestyle.”
