Better Business Habits Weekly Breakfast

Guest Speaker: Brendan Bathersby from the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce

Be sure to invite guests to this one!

Brendan will be filling us in on the challenges regarding the proposed Heavy/Light Rail and the areas it will service.

Concerns have been raised about the prospect of a heavy rail line not continuing to Maroochydore under the current $320m major road upgrade plans.

These concerns were identified after the release of the Sunshine Coast Mass Transit Draft Options Analysis report showed the link from Kawana to Maroochydore as the last priority for the Camcos North link.

This has been labelled as a big legacy infrastructure and of significant importance leading up to the Olympics and therefore warrants business and community concern if omitted.
